Sibur-PETF JSC

Sibur-PETF JSC is a modern plant that uses advanced technology to manufacture bottle-grade PET granulate. Polyethylene terephthalate, or “PET”, is used in packaging for cold drinks, mineral water, beer, vegetable oils and other food products.

The process equipment is fully automated and was designed and supplied by Zimmer AG in Germany – one of the top engineering and design companies in the field of polymer technology. The system controls process parameters and monitors operations to prevent breakdowns and maintain output quality. Production capacity is 150 tonnes per day, or 52,500 t/yr.

International experience of operating plants similar to “Sibur-PETF” shows that they can run for 2-3 years without being shut down for major overhaul.
