Sibur-Neftekhim JSC

The Caprolactam plant was founded on 14th December 1939, and manufacturing of polyvinyl chloride plasticates began in 1971.

The current product range includes chlorine, caustic soda and suspension PVC with a production capacity of 42,000 tonnes per year. The plant also manufactures processed PVC products such as plastic compounds for cables and footwear, linoleum, perchlorovinyl resins, coagulants for water purification, ethylene chlorohydrin, trichloroethylene, synthetic and abgas salt acid.

PVC plasticates are thermoplastic materials obtained by extrusion of a PVC compound made of various plasticizers, stabilizers, fillers and pigments. They have performed well in the severe conditions of the Far North and Antarctica, as well as in high temperatures.

PVC plasticates are applied to wires, cables and telephone lines to provide insulation and protection. They are also used to manufacture boot uppers, soles and hosepipes. The plasticate is produced in the form of granules with dimensions and shapes designed to ensure easy handling during processing.
