Plastik JSC

Plastik JSC was founded in 1959 on the basis of an experimental briquet factory. It initially manufactured textolite hardhats, but by 1963 extrusion and injection molding machines had been installed and it began producing polyethylene sheet and plastic consumer goods.

Today, Plastik is a major chemicals complex with polymer synthesis and processing facilities and its own power supply system.

It is the only producer of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene plastic in Russia and is the biggest supplier of granulated polymer feedstock and associated products. It also produces high-quality styrene, phenoplast, parts for the automobile and engineering industries, household goods and certified hardhats under the “Trud-U” and “Shakhter” brands.

The plant’s current priorities are: production of ABS-plastics, polystyrene, styrene, engineering parts, rolled products, consumer goods and hardhats.
