Guangzhou, 17 May 2017. SIBUR will present its elastomers and polymers at Chinaplas 2017, Asia's largest petrochemical exhibition hosted in Guangzhou, China. The Company will showcase a wide range of elastomers, including those already supplied to the Chinese market: styrene butadiene and polybutadiene rubbers, butyl rubbers, thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), and SSBR and BR rubber grades designed specifically for the production of eco-friendly tires in line with the EU regulations. It will also present a wide range of homopolymers of polypropylene and low density polyethylene, including polymer grades used in the production of bulk packaging, BOPP films, shrinkable and agricultural films.

Sergey Komyshan, SIBUR’s Executive Director, commented: “The development of the Chinese market and the Asian region as a whole fuel the growth of demand for efficient solutions based on polymers and other materials. We are confident in the potential of this market and expect the products of the future ZapSibNeftekhim facility to significantly boost the sales of Russian polymers to our Chinese customers.”
