For us, health and safety means preventing situations that pose a threat to life and health of our employees, including occupational diseases, and creating an accident-free and injury-free environment.

In line with SIBUR’s 2025 Sustainable Development Strategy, our targets are:

  • Zero workplace fatalities
  • Annual reduction in LTIF (Lost Time Injury Frequency) by 5% for our employees and contractors

Integrated management system

We have put in place an integrated system to manage HSE and product quality (IMS). It complies with a number of international standards, including ISO 45001.

Workplace safety
culture

We focus on preventing risks and hazards and seek to raise awareness among our employees, offering them large-scale education and mentoring programmes.

The Company established SIBURINTECH, an innovative centre for engineering expertise. Its classrooms and training sites provide employees with an opportunity to excel in health and safety using digital technologies.

The H&S education programmes are also available to employees of SIBUR’s contractors.

  • Regulation on Organisation and Implementation of Production Control of Compliance with Industrial Safety Requirements at Facilities Using a Risk-Based Approach

Engaging partners to advance H&S systems



SIBUR aspires to be a role model for its partners. To that end, we extend our health and safety requirements to our contractors.

In 2020, the Company adopted the Guidelines for Contractor Safety Management. The document sets out selection criteria for contractors, requirements for employees, monitoring procedures, and other parameters.

We always invite our partners’ employees to participate in our training programmes and safety briefings.
