New Executive Appointments in the Management Company

Konstantin Mashinsky, formerly Director of SIBUR LLC Legal Department, has been appointed as the company’s Vice President for Organization and Administration. Vitaly Baranov, who kept the position of Vice President since 2006, in March 2009 took the position of Vice President for Administration at Gazprom neft JSC and continues to work as Advisor to SIBUR LLC President. 

Denis Nikienko, formerly Head of Investment Activity Legal Support at the Company’s Legal Department, has been promoted as Head of Legal Department.

Besides, Mikhail Mikhailov, who until recently headed the Corporate Policy Division has been appointed in the newly enacted position of Vice President for Corporate Governance and Development. These structural changes are connected with the current redistribution of functions and are to enhance the operating efficiency of the management organization.      

Backgroud

In the last several years, the number of personnel at SIBUR LLC, the management company of SIBUR Holding JSC, has been reducing consistently from over 1200 persons to 804 persons today.  The ever higher efficiency of management processes will result in the further reduction of personnel numbers in the management company.

Konstantin Mashinsky was born on January 27, 1971 in Vladivostok. He graduated from Saint Petersburg State University and  holds Master of International Law degree from Washington College of Law, The American University Washington, US. In 2009, he graduated from the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland, under the programme of Executives Development.

Konstantin Mashinsky joined SIBUR in 2004 as Director of Strategic Development Department. While working in the company, he headed Department of Problematic Assets and kept the position of Legal Advisor. Since 2005, Konstantin Mashinsky has been working as Head of Legal Department. Prior to joining SIBUR, he had been Director of Legal Aid Bureau No. 48 of Saint Petersburg Bar Association.

Mikhail Mikhailov was born on July 4, 1962 in Moscow. He graduated from Moscow State University of Engineering named after N. E. Bauman. Mikhail Mikhailov joined SIBUR in 2004 as Director of Department for Structural Decisions. In the same year, he headed the Corporate Policy Division.  Prior to joining the Company, he worked as Executive Director of TRUST Investment Bank, and before that – Head of Department for New Financial Instruments at Troika Dialogue investment company and Director for Equity Securities at the Moscow Joint-Stock Bank for Entrepreneurship –  Mosbusinessbank JSC.
