SIBUR is starting sale of liquefied petroleum gases at the Interregional Exchange

From April 20, Sibur-Gazservis is starting sale of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) at the Interregional Exchange of Oil and Gas Complex.

The priority direction of Sibur-Gazservis's activities is small-scale deliveries of LPG produced at SIBUR's gas-processing and petrochemical plants to petrol filling stations and gas filling stations. Sibur-Gazservis occupies approximately 25% of the Russian market of LPG deliveries for domestic needs.

During 2009 the Company realized 360 thou tons of products using motor transport and 110 thou tons through container shipping. The main regions of sale are Perm Krai, Samara Oblast, Saratov Oblast, Penza Oblast, Tula Oblast, Moscow Oblast, Rostov Oblast, Nizhniy Novgorod Oblast, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Tyumen Oblast, Ulyanovsk Oblast, Udmurt Republic, Republic of Tatarstan and Republic of Bashkortostan.

The Interregional Exchange of Oil and Gas Complex (MBNK) is one of the key institutions forming the pricing system in a free sector of refined product and petrochemical market in Russia. Realization of products through MBNK will facilitate expansion of SIBUR's sales geography and attraction of new customers.

The main objective of activities of the Interregional Exchange of Oil and Gas Complex Noncommercial Partnership (MBNK NP) is organization of hydrocarbon product exchange trade in the Russian Federation, that is granting of services directly promoting conclusion of civil hydrocarbon material transactions through an integrated trade organization system, and maintenance of conditions required for its successful performance in the interests of the market players. Members of MBNK NP include NK Rosneft JSC, TNK-BP Holding OJSC, GAZEKS-Management LLC, and other companies. During the period from August 2008 to April 2010 turnover of the Exchange was 34520.9 million RUR, and 2232 thou tons of goods were realized.
