The Amur Gas Chemical Complex (GCC) construction site status update

Amur GCC construction progress — construction of a power substation, cryogenic air separation plant, process water storage tanks and other GCC facilities.

As of March 2023, progress in construction of a 500 kW main power substation reached 85%. Major operations are underway in the cubicle switchboard building. Wiring work, control cabinet installation and interior fit-out are currently in progress.

Installation of metal frameworks for the buildings of the main plants is underway at the cryogenic air separation plant.

Installation of giant steel vertical tanks for process water has started. In total, three tanks will be installed, each with a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters.

Under the patronage of the Amur GCC, PROGorod, a comprehensive program for the development of the entrepreneurial community, was launched in the town of Svobodny; also, projects within the framework of SIBUR’s social investments program, the Formula for Good Deeds, were implemented in Svobodny.
