Dmitry Konov, Chairman of the Management Board at SIBUR Holding:
"It is fair to say that 2020 was a difficult year for businesses, and SIBUR was no exception. I am proud to say that we stood to the challenges we faced and continued to grow amid the pandemic and high market volatility. All of our projects remained on track, and the ramp-up of ZapSibNeftekhim to full operational capacity represented a major milestone on our journey to becoming a global industry leader.
“Today, we are transitioning to an ESG-driven strategy and governance framework, which will enable SIBUR to grow into one of the most sustainable and responsible players in the industry, for the benefit of all our stakeholders. The publication of our first consolidated report, which details the progress we have made in achieving our long-term financial and non-financial goals, as well as our contribution to the development of SIBUR’s regions of presence and the wider petrochemicals industry, is an important step in the delivery of this strategy.”
