New Managing Director for Organizational Development – Andrei Zhvakin

Moscow, 18 January 2013. Andrei Zhvakin has been made SIBUR’s Managing Director for Organizational Development, and member of SIBUR LLC Management Board.

Prior to his appointment, Mr Zhvakin was Director of the company’s corporate university.

His predecessor in office Konstantin Mashinsky was made Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Management and Organization Development Unit of PJSC Stroytransgaz in October 2012.

General information:

Andrei Zhvakin was born on 28 January 1957 in the city of Glazov (Republic of Udmurtia). In 1980 he graduated from the Saratov Higher Military Engineering School of Chemical Defense; in 2002, from the International Institute of Economics and Law; and in 1980–1993 served in the Russian army. From 1994 to 2003 he worked as COO and CEO of ICN Polypharm, later going on to become Deputy CEO of ICN Russia LLC. In 2003–2006 he served as Chairman of the Volgotanker LLC Management Board. Mr Zhvakin joined SIBUR in 2006, first as Advisor to the Senior Executive Vice-President, then as Head of Synthetic Rubbers Division, later Vice-President — Head of Synthetic Rubbers Division and Director of SIBUR’s corporate university.
