SIBUR Registered as Open Joint Stock Company

St. Petersburg, 13 June 2012. Interdistrict Federal Tax Agency’s Inspectorate No. 15 in St. Petersburg registered the amendments to SIBUR’s Articles of Associations reflecting the change of the company’s form of incorporation. Starting 9 June 2012, the full company name shall be SIBUR Holding Open Joint Stock Company, and the abbreviated name SIBUR Holding OJSC. The name SIBUR Holding CJSC shall no longer be used.

The decision to change the company name was made by the Annual General Shareholder Meeting of SIBUR Holding CJSC on 26 April 2012. The measure is in line with the regulatory acts on the corporate law currently under consideration, aimed to improve shareholder rights protection and company openness to the investor community.

SIBUR LLC shall remain the management company of SIBUR Holding OJSC.
